Trust Mark

The principle aim of TrustMark is to protect customers from rogue traders and to ensure all who carry their accreditation are delivering good trading practices, good customer service and a high level of technical competence. TrustMark is a government endorsed scheme, and strives to help connect customers with tradespeople who can deliver efficient and effective services. Abbey Roofing are vetted and inspected by TrustMark to ensure we stay working to government standards.

The NFRC (National Federation of Roofing Contractors) is one of the UK’s most prominent roofing trade associations. They are dedicated to maintaining high standards in the roofing industry, and offer many services and perks for both NFRC members and their customers. These include; technical publications and support, a warranty scheme, and thorough vetting of the workmanship standards of all their members.

Helping contractors and consultants meet health and safety requirements is CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme). This scheme assesses and approves applicant contractors based on their health and safety policies and arrangements. CHAS makes it easy for organisations to hire contractors and suppliers, as customers are given peace of mind, knowing that all CHAS approved companies meet the acceptable standards of health and safety.

This scheme aims to connect buyers and suppliers (e.g. contractors) with each other, and also monitors and verifies the contractors that wish to become members. Using a questionnaire developed by the British Standards Institute, Constructionline assess the qualifications of construction suppliers. This allows customers to identify construction suppliers that are suitable for them, avoiding a waste of time and resources and making procurement a much easier task.
