Meet the Team

I started in the roofing industry as a labourer in 1998 after a spell in HM Armed Forces. I quickly gained a passion for roofing and decided that the roofing industry was where I wanted to work.

After gaining valuable site experience I enrolled in various courses gaining several qualifications along the way, including SMSTS, SSSTS, IPAF, PASMA, NVQ Level 6 in construction site management, NVQ Level 2 & 3 in built-up bituminous roofing, as well as becoming an approved contractor for many leading roofing manufacturers. In my spare time, I’m also a follower of Watford FC through the good times and bad!

Robbie is Abbey Roofings’ Senior Quantity Surveyor. He started his current line of work 8 years ago, working nationwide for a construction and roofing company as a Trainee Surveyor.Robbie quickly found an interest within the industry and realised his attention to detail and organisation developed his skills as a Surveyor. 

After gaining a number of years experience securing and delivering large scale projects, Robbie was promoted on a number of occasions and poached by alternative Roofing companies which eventually led to the opportunity to join the ever growing Abbey Roofing team. 

 Robbie is known for his uncanny ability to develop further working relationships from the golf course with key clients and suppliers.

I have over 12 years experience working in the Finance industry. I completed an AAT Level 4 qualification in 2017. I have worked in a range of different businesses including Film and TV, science innovation, glassblowing, roofing and many more. Within Abbey Roofing, I am the Finance Manager. My role is drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting function. I enjoy helping add value to the business.

I started my roofing career over 12 years ago with a leadwork and roofing apprenticeship. I gained my NVQ level 2 in leadwork shortly after.
I have since gone on to install and gain 12 years of experience in traditional roofing and leadwork. Working on and supervising high end and heritage projects including, Westminster abbey, Ely Cathedral and Ancaster House in Mayfair. I then joined Abbey Roofing in 2022 and have since completed my SSSTS, PASMA and IPAF qualifications.

Ben (not pictured here, although he should be as he’s quite the eye candy!) joined his father’s family roofing business at the tender age of 16 and learnt the traditional skills of the trade from his dad. He then started his own successful roofing business, which he ran for almost a decade. Over the years Ben has worked on every kind of roofing project imaginable, from small domestic projects to the dizzying heights of Windsor Castle. In 2021 he decided to hang up his toolbelt and go into the managerial side of roofing. He is now our Site Supervisor, overseeing a wide range of projects and has completed many more professional qualifications since joining us. He even gets to don his toolbelt occasionally to get back up on the roof when we need his specialised brand of expertise. Ben is a devoted Manchester United fan, but don’t hold that against him, he’s a good guy really.

Katie previously spent 8 years as a maintenance supervisor.
Katie achieved her Iosh, Pasma/Ipaf and water management.
After 8 years it was time for a new challenge and this is where Katie joined abbey roofing.
Katie enjoys socialising, fishing and anything that gives her a bit of adrenaline in her spare time and is always up for a practical joke so Katie is one to watch out for.

Kim has extensive knowledge in Property scheduling
After spending 10 years in scheduling Kim decided she needed a new challenge and this is where she joined Abbey Roofing as the senior scheduler.
Kims Loves to socialise and you will always catch Kim in the middle of a good night out.

Tim has been working within construction industry for over 20years, with the last 10 being spent in social housing and new builds.
Tim joined Abbey Roofing in 2023 after working for some of the biggest construction companies within social housing sector, Tim enjoys playing golf and coaching an under 14 football team

Carolina business experience comes from her bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

Her role with Abbey Roofing started as an Office Administrator gaining a good overview of how our business works and finally finding the area, she wanted to specialize which is finance. Her knowledge helps the administrative activities and the day-to-day operational finance function in our office to run smoothly.
